Patton Arrested for DUI Accident, Injuring His 2 Passengers
Grass Valley, CA (May 20, 2020) – On May 3, police arrested Joshua Timothy Patton for DUi after he crashed his car, injuring his two 18-year-old passengers.
California Highway Patrol Mike Steele states Joshua Timothy Patton was driving a Nissan 350 traveling eastbound on Indian Springs Road near Majestic View Court at about 7:15 p.m on Sunday night.
Sadly, Patton failed to properly take a curve in the street due to the level of his intoxication.
Patton then bounced off the road and bumped into a tree, Steele said.
Moreover, an 18-year-old girl from Penn Valley and an 18-year-old boy from Grass Valley were in the car and sustained minor but visible injuries.
Both of the passengers were taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, Steele said.
Driving under the influence of either drugs or alcohol like in the case of Joshua Timothy Patton is a grave offense. This could lead to major accidents and could also cost lives. DUI is punishable by law.
