2 Officers Hurt Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (November 5, 2019)—Two officers sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident at North 30th Street and East Greenway Road Friday.
When authorities arrived around 4 p.m., they found a Chevrolet Tahoe patrol vehicle on its roof. Inside, they also found two officers with minor injuries.
It appears a driver turned in front of their Chevrolet SUV, causing both vehicles to collide and the patrol vehicle to overturn. However, the other driver fled on foot, having no regard for the injured officers.
