Ford Driver Seriously Hurt in SUV-Big Rig Collision near Root Avenue
(May 21, 2022) On Friday, a big rig driver and a Ford driver were both injured in a traffic accident on Kimberlina Road.
Authorities say that the crash happened between Root Avenue and Poplar Avenue at around 5:58 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a white semi-truck collided with a red Ford Explorer.
Moreover, the impact of the crash caused the semi to overturn and landed on its side.
Consequently, the truck spilled 7,200 gallons of red dye diesel.
Fortunately, Environmental Health says that the diesel is contained in the dirt and did not impact the waterways.
Paramedics transported the Ford driver to a hospital with serious injuries, while the semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries.
Aim high in steering, i.e. don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you, but rather on what is down the road.
If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.
Injured in a Traffic Collision
According to the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year. It is therefore important to follow all the traffic laws to avoid these types of accidents.
“A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is not true. Injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. We are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an attorney practicing for over 40 years.
Moreover, the most valuable step you can take in response to the Kimberlina Road traffic accident is hiring a personal injury attorney.
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of a party.
