2 Injured in Kingsburg Accident on 6th Avenue and Clinton Avenue
KINGSBURG, CA (October 29, 2020) – Wednesday morning, two men suffered injuries in a head-on crash on 6th Avenue and Clinton Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 6:40 a.m. on 6th Avenue and Clinton Avenue, southwest of Kingsburg.
According to the CHP officers, a Toyota Tundra and Jeep Cherokee crashed when one of the cars drove into the opposite lane.
As a result, the male driver of the Jeep sustained major injuries. Thus, responders airlifted him to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the Tundra driver sustained moderate injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to a hospital.
As of this time, the CHP officers continue to identify which vehicle drove across the centerline.
Meanwhile, the authorities shut down the traffic during the investigation.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield will lead to dangerous road accidents.
What to Do After an Auto Accident
While driving is essential for many to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous daily maneuvers. It is therefore important to know what to do if you find yourself in a traffic collision.
On the AAA Foundation Web site, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured individual. A lawyer will make sure victims are not cheated of the proper compensation they are owed.
