2 Men Airlifted after Single-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80 and Pomona Street [Rockett, CA]

Injuries Reported in Rockett Auto Accident on Interstate 80 and Pomona Street

 
ROCKETT, CA (November 14, 2022) – Sunday night, two men suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 and Pomona Street.
 
The incident happened just after 5:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 and Pomona Street off-ramp.
 
As the officers responded, they determined that a vehicle’s driver had gotten a foot stuck near the accelerator pedal. As a result, the crash occurred.
 
When the officers arrived, they found two unconscious men inside a Honda sedan with major front-end damage.
 
Afterward, they transported the patients to San Pablo Avenue and Merchant Avenue. Then, a REACH medical helicopter arrived to airlift them to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
 
Also, officers confirmed that the men were listed in critical condition.
