2 Hurt in Butte County Vehicle Crash on Skyway near Lookout Point

BUTTE COUNTY, CA (April 12, 2023) – Monday morning, two people sustained injuries in an eye-catching traffic accident on Skyway near Lookout Point.

The incident happened at around 9:45 a.m. on Skyway near Lookout Point.

According to reports, a westbound Hyundai spun around and crashed into an embankment after swerving to avoid collision with a deer. Then, a Ford Escape stopped in the number two lane to help the occupants of the Hyundai. Moments later, another vehicle failed to stop on time and rear-ended the Ford Escape.

Moreover, responders transported two people from the second crash to Enloe Medical Center with minor injuries.

Furthermore, closed one lane of the Skyway but has long since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
