2 People Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on La Mesa Road and Del Gado Road [Victorville, CA]

Injuries Reported in Victorville Rollover Accident on La Mesa Road and Del Gado Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 8, 2022) – Monday morning, two people suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on La Mesa Road and Del Gado Road.
 
The incident occurred at around 9:17 a.m. on La Mesa Road and Del Gado Road.
 
According to reports, a dark-colored Honda Pilot lost control and rolled over several times. Eventually, it stopped along the sidewalk near a fire hydrant.
 
Then, some bystanders stopped to give aid to the victims. Battalion Chief Andrew Roach, with the City of Victorville Fire Department, came to the scene with victims trapped in the wreckage.
 
“Upon arrival, crews found two patients who were trapped inside of a vehicle which had rolled on La Mesa and was blocking traffic,” said Chief Roach.
 
After extrication, firefighters confirmed that a pregnant woman sustained critical injuries. Meanwhile, a man sustained minor injuries.
 
Responders airlifted the female victim to a trauma center.
 
“We have some major thoroughfares here in Victorville and we see a lot of these types of incidents whether it’s on La Mesa. Whether on Palmdale, Hesperia Road, or any of the freeways, we just ask the public to drive safely. Use due regard because unfortunately, we do respond to a fair amount of these types of incidents on a day-to-day basis,” said Andrew Roach.
 
Also, the crash shut down La Mesa Road between Del Gado and King Canyon Road in both directions.
 
Furthermore, the Victorville Police Department investigates the cause of the crash.
