Injuries Reported in Santa Barbara Auto Accident on East Montecito Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (April 3, 2022) – Saturday night, two people suffered injuries in a rollover crash on East Montecito Street.
The incident happened at around 6:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Montecito Street.
Battalion Chief Robert Mercado of the Santa Barbara City Fire Department said that the sedan headed west. Then, it hit a parked vehicle and flipped over.
As a result, responders had to assist a man and a woman in getting out of the overturned vehicle. Also, both of them sustained minor injuries. Thus, an AMR ambulance transported both of them to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
At this time, their identities remain undisclosed.
Due to the limited information available, the Santa Barbara Police Department handles the investigation.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield will lead to dangerous road accidents.

Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious auto accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party.
