Injuries Reported in San Diego Crash on 54th Street and College Grove Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 2, 2022) – Sunday morning, two women suffered injuries in an auto accident on 54th Street and College Grove Drive.
The incident happened at 8:32 a.m. on southbound 54th Street and College Grove Drive.
According to reports, a 29-year-old woman drove a 2014 Volkswagen Golf. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman traveled east through the intersection in a 2012 Toyota Highlander.
Afterward, the Volkswagen driver failed to yield at a red light and crashed with the Toyota.
Then, the Toyota hit an MTS bus that was stopped at the light.
After the crash, the bus driver suffered no injuries. Moreover, no other occupants rode the bus at the time of the crash.
Moreover, responders took both drivers to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
