2 People Hurt in Big-Rig Rollover Accident on Interstate 5 [Lacey, WA]

WSDOT INVESTIGATES SEMI-TRUCK ACCIDENT NEAR CARPERNTER ROAD NORTHEAST

Lacey, WA (March 14, 2023) On Monday morning, a big-rig rollover accident on Interstate 5 injured 2 people.

WSDOT says that the semi-truck accident happened around 6 a.m. near Carpenter Road Northeast.

According to the DOT, a double tanker semi-truck roll overed southbound Interstate 5 and spilled half of its load. Officials say that 2 people sustained minor injuries due to the crash.

Paramedics transported both patients to a hospital.

WSDOT closed all lanes of the interstate as a tanker truck offloaded the remaining fuel from the rolled-over semi-truck tanker.

Authorities are investigating the semi-truck accident and have not released additional information at this time.
