TORRANCE, CA (December 1, 2022) – Wednesday morning, two people died in a plane crash on Zamperini Field.
The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. at Zamperini Field.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a single-engine experimental Arion Lightning plane crashed as it attempted to land at the airport.
Moreover, in the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, two occupants of the plane died in the crash.
Furthermore, the fatal incident closed the airport indefinitely.
Meanwhile, the circumstances leading to the crash remained under investigation.
