Fiery Car Accident Ends in Double Fatality in Graham
GRAHAM, WA (June 27, 2019) – A fiery crash involving a semi-truck on Meridian East near 224th Street East left two people dead Tuesday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal accident blocked the road for several hours.
Troopers learned that a northbound semi-truck collided with a southbound vehicle, whose driver veered into the oncoming traffic lane for unknown reasons. The semi-truck subsequently broadsided the vehicle before the car caught on fire.
The two people inside the car died at the scene and their identities have yet to be revealed.
At this time, authorities are perplexed as to what led to the car accident. Thus far, detectives have ruled out impairment on the big rig driver’s part.
