TUCSON, AZ (March 10, 2022) – On Tuesday, two people died in a border patrol vehicle crash on Interstate 19 and Milepost 31.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident happened on northbound Interstate 19 at milepost 31.
 
Reports revealed that the incident involved a pickup truck and a Border Patrol vehicle. Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the pickup truck to roll over. Then, the impact also ejected the passengers riding in the truck’s bed.
 
Also, responders pronounced the driver and a passenger of the pickup died at the scene. Then, paramedics transported four people to a hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under active investigation.
