2 Killed and 1 Hurt in Mendocino County Auto Accident on Howard Street

 
MENDOCINO COUNTY, CA (October 28, 2020) – Sunday night, two people died and another suffered injuries in a crash on Howard Street and Highway 162.
 
According to authorities, at around 11:46 p.m., a northbound Toyota Tacoma traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it suddenly went off the east roadway. The vehicle crashed through a wood fence and collided with a tree.
 
Responders pronounced the adult female driver and the adult male front passenger dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted a female rear passenger to Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Reports revealed that the passenger sustained major injuries.
 
The authorities released no information regarding the involved individuals due to pending family notifications.
 
Moreover, the authorities are investigating impairment as a factor in the crash.
 
The CalFire, Mendocino County Sheriffs Department, Long Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Reach Air, and Laytonville Ambulance all responded to the incident.
