1 Hospitalized after Car Collision in Kent
KENT, WA (August 13, 2019) – On Tuesday morning, two children suffered injuries in a car accident on 104th Avenue SE.
According to the Kent Police Department, the crash happened around 9:45 AM near SE 244th Street. As a result, officers reported that a black Dodge Charger lost control. As a result, the car drove into a building. However, the cause of the accident is currently unknown.
The Pudget Sound Fire stated one child had minor injuries due to debris. However, paramedics transported a 6-year-old girl to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. They are expected to recover.
Police did not release the identity of the victim to the public.
The surrounding area closed for a brief time while crews worked to clean the scene. Police did not release any other information at this time. Nonetheless, an investigation is still ongoing to determine further details.
