Woman Hospitalized after Crash on Nebraska Avenue in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA (April 13, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a woman sustained serious injuries in a 2-Car crash on Nebraska Avenue and Highway 41.

The crash on Nebraska Avenue in Fresno County happened around 3:45 p.m. on April 13.

CHP said a Dodge minivan was stopped westbound on Nebraska Avenue as a Ford super-duty work truck was traveling northbound on Highway 41.

Authorities said that the vehicle struck the left front of the van after attempting to avoid it as it was stopped between the 1 and 2 lanes.

The van’s female driver, who was in her mid-sixties, suffered serious injuries and needed to be airlifted to a nearby hospital. 

The male truck driver complained of soreness but was not taken to a hospital.

Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
