At Least 1 Hurt in Castro Valley Crash at Center Street

 
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (January 14, 2020)—At least one person sustained injuries in Sunday’s two-vehicle collision at Center Street and Grove Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a caller reported the incident around 10:05 a.m. The crash, which involved a gold Lexus and a gray van, collided under unclear circumstances.
 
Per CHP logs, a witness saw one person crawling out of a damaged vehicle before lying on the ground. Further notes indicated that the person appeared to be severely hurt.
 
Shortly after, an ambulance and a tow truck arrived to tend to the patients and damaged vehicles.
 
Authorities are investigating this crash further to determine the preceding events. Anyone with information should contact local authorities.
