RENTON, WA (July 26, 2019) – A person sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on northbound 405 Freeway on July 24.
 
Police did not release many details regarding the accident at this time. However, the hit-and-run crash stalled traffic for around two hours but all lanes have since reopened.
 
Troopers and medics came to the scene on 405 Freeway near Highway 167 interchange, at about 10:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious multi-vehicle accident.
 
A person suffered serious injuries due to the collision.
 
The crash initially shut down two lanes which led to a lengthy backup.
