1 Hospitalized in Brea Auto Accident on Valencia Avenue and Santa Fe Road
BREA, CA (May 26, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Valencia Avenue and Santa Fe Road.
According to Brea Police Lt. Phil Rodriguez, the incident happened at 4:20 p.m. A Hyundai Sonata crashed after attempting a left turn to westbound Santa Fe Road from Valencia Avenue. Also, the force of the crash ejected a passenger from the vehicle.
Afterward, the paramedics transported the passenger of the vehicle to UC Irvine Medical Center with serious injuries.
Moreover, authorities arrested the driver of the Hyundai on suspicion of felony DUI.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that both the driver and the passenger were in their 20s.
