1 Hurt in Sacramento Car Accident
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 26, 2019) – A person suffered injuries in a car collision on Capital City Freeway and Exposition Boulevard on April 25.
As a result, southbound traffic on the freeway slowed down since fire crews blocked two lanes at Exposition Boulevard while extricating an occupant.
The collision between two vehicles occurred around 6:20 a.m. One of the cars landed on its side just south of the Exposition Boulevard exit.
According to the fire department, the collision involved “several” vehicles and that one person got stuck in the car that ended up on its side.
As crews worked for the extrication, authorities shut down the right two lanes of southbound traffic. The medical responders transported the extricated person to a local hospital with unidentified injuries.
At 7:25 a.m., all lanes have reopened.
