Injuries Reported in Santa Ana Auto Accident near Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue

 
SANTA ANA, CA (June 2, 2021) – Tuesday night, a person suffered injuries in a police chase crash near Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue.
 
At around 7:20 p.m., the police tried to pull over two people on 5th and Laurel Streets for a possible traffic violation. However, the driver didn’t stop for officers which led to a chase, said Santa Ana Police Commander Andrew Alvarez.
 
As the driver tried to escape, their vehicle failed to yield for stop signs. Also, they have traveled at speeds of around 60 mph.
 
Eventually, the motorist crashed into another vehicle. Then, they crashed into a tree near Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
 
After the crash, the authorities arrested the driver and passenger involved in the chase. Meanwhile, the person inside the vehicle they hit sustained minor injuries.
