Carson, CA (April 17, 2020) – Late Wednesday morning, witnesses reported a crash in the 3300 block of Highway 50 that left 1 person injured.

Dispatchers sent the Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies to the scene near a restaurant and the Country Store.

According to the report, the collision took place at about 11:10 a.m.

The 2-vehicle collision resulted in 1 person being airlifted by a Care Flight air ambulance en route to the hospital.

Due to the crash on the 3300 block of Highway 50, eastbound traffic shut down, but it reopened again at around noon.
