1 Dead and 1 Injured in Moreno Valley Auto Accident on San Timoteo Canyon Road and Redlands Boulevard

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 18, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on San Timoteo Canyon Road and Redlands Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road, west of Redlands Boulevard. According to reports, the crash happened roughly halfway between Moreno Valley and Redlands.
 
At this time, the circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unclear. However, officers confirmed that they found a Toyota Camry and another sedan impacted at the location,
 
When the Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived, they declared one motorist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the other driver to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Also, the incident shut down both sides of San Timoteo Canyon. This closure transpired between Live Oak Canyon Road to the north and Redlands Boulevard to the south until about 4:00 p.m.
