1 Dead in Apple Valley Auto Accident on Interstate 15 and Wild Wash Road
APPLE VALLEY, CA (May 9, 2022) – Sunday morning, a person died in a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 15 and Wild Wash Road.
The rollover crash happened at around 7:00 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15, just after Wild Wash Road.
The California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department came to the scene. According to reports, a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck lost control. Then, it rolled over multiple times and landed on its wheels.
Afterward, the truck fell about 100 feet off the right shoulder of the freeway and damage the fence line.
Meanwhile, responders declared a person in the pickup dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two other people inside the truck suffered moderate to major injuries. Then, responders took them to a local hospital.
Also, Reach Air Medical 13 helicopter transported one from the scene to Arrowhead Medical Center.
Furthermore, the CHP Barstow Office handles the investigation.
Moreover, the identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
