SAN DIEGO, CA (August 23, 2020) – Friday morning, a person died in a crash on Highway 905 in Otay Mesa, police reported.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash just before 5:15 a.m on eastbound 90 Freeway, near the Caliente Avenue offramp.
 
According to reports, a driver crashed into a sign before colliding with another vehicle. Due to the impact, a person inside the vehicle died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the authorities shut down the Caliente Avenue onramp to Highway 905, Caltrans San Diego revealed.
 
The fatal crash on Highway 905 remains under active investigation.
