1 Dead in Everett Car Accident on Glenwood Avenue
EVERETT, WA (July 10, 2019) – A person died in a shooting and car accident on Glenwood Avenue on July 6.
After 7:00 p.m., police received a call about people arguing and somebody shot in the 5300 Block of Glenwood Avenue. In response and while police went to Glenwood Avenue, they received a second call about a car collision.
In addition, police revealed that when they went to the scene, they found an SUV that rear-ended a Honda. After that, authorities located a man shot to death inside the SUV.
Investigators revealed that the man in his 40s lived from Everett.
Police added that no one occupied the Honda. However, after talking to some witnesses, someone confirmed the driver of the Honda to police.
Investigators also said that the man had a gun on him but they are still uncertain if it was used in the shooting or if he’s the shooter.
“We have major crimes detectives that are on scene and trying to piece this all together,” Deputy Chief John DeRousse stated. “We have our traffic unit involved because there was a collision and they’re going to help us dissect exactly how these vehicles came into contact with each other.”
Police are still investigating the collision.
