Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Las Posas Road

San Marcos, CA (March 11, 2023) – On Friday, a person sustained fatal injuries following an accident at EDCO San Marcos site.

The authorities received the crash report just before noon about a person that was struck by a  garbage truck at the company’s location on Las Posas Road, south of state Route 78.

Officers immediately responded to the scene and declared the victim dead.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the pedestrian collision on Las Posas Road. No further information is available as of this time.
