Police Investigate Mercedes VS Toyota Crash on West Payran Street in Petaluma

Petaluma, CA (October 6, 2022) – Wednesday evening, one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on West Payran Street.

The two-vehicle crash in Petaluma happened at around 5:45 p.m. on October 5.

Petaluma Police said a Mercedes coupe traveling north on West Payran Street turned left in front of a southbound Toyota 4Runner. 

Paramedics took the 4Runner driver to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa for treatment of a cut to the head.

The Mercedes driver did not sustain any injuries and police issued a citation for not having proof of insurance.

Investigators said drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash.

Further investigation to determine the circumstances of this crash is ongoing.
