1 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident Involving School Bus in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 16, 2020) — A multi-car accident near Wilson Road and White Lane involving a school bus left one person injured Tuesday in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a caller reported the incident around 4:00 p.m. As soon as Bakersfield Police and fire officials from the department responded, they found a school bus at the front of the crash and several vehicles behind it.
Officers believe the drivers rear-ended one another in a chain-reaction manner.
No one was on board the Panama Buena Vista Union School District school bus at the time, except for the driver; however, one person involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Reports provided no information as to what drove the accident, but the Bakersfield Police plans to investigate this.
