Pedestrian Hurt in Phoenix Hit-and-Run Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (November 19, 2019) — A 31-year old man suffered serious injuries Thursday after a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
According to witnesses, the man crossed at North 43rd Avenue against the light when an eastbound vehicle struck him. In addition, the driver failed to show any regard for the victim and fled the scene on a green light.
As far as the suspect goes, police have only determined that the car is a light-colored sedan.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered critical injuries in the accident. However, it is unclear whether he had been impaired at the time.
