HUMBOLDT, CA (June 15, 2022) – Monday morning, a person suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Walnut Avenue and Primrose Street.
 
The incident occurred at around 8:13 a.m. on Walnut Avenue, south of Primrose Street.
 
According to reports, Harris drove her Honda Accord north on Walnut Avenue and parked at the curb. As Harris started pulling into the traffic lane, a passing northbound vehicle struck the Honda’s front. Then, the vehicle didn’t stop at the scene and drove north.
 
Meanwhile, Harris sustained a severely broken arm in the crash. Then, a passing motorist transported Harris to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, Harris failed to give a definitive description of the suspect vehicle but thought it may have been a green or teal full-size pickup with a camper shell. Reports said that the suspect vehicle would have damage to its right front and/or right side.
