SANTA CRUZ, CA (May 9, 2024) – Wednesday morning, an alarming pedestrian crash on Airport Boulevard near Pajaro Lane injured one person.

The incident happened at around 4:50 a.m. on Airport Boulevard, east of Pajaro Lane.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Tesla Model Y struck a male pedestrian who was walking on Airport Boulevard.

Moreover, responders rushed the 63-year-old victim to Natividad Medical Center with major injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
