Pedestrian Collision Reported in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 21, 2019) — A pedestrian accident on Main Street near G Avenue left one person with serious injuries Monday night.
 
The accident unfolded around 8:00 p.m. after a 1989 Toyota pickup truck was traveling westbound on Main Street in the center left-turn lane. As the driver slowed down to make a turn into the Fastrip parking lot, he struck the pedestrian.
 
Investigators believe the pedestrian had been in the center left-turn lane, as well, attempting to cross the street.
 
A helicopter arrived on the scene moments later to airlift the victim to a medical center.
 
Because the events preceding the accident are uncertain, authorities are investigating the details more closely. Anyone with information should call the Hesperia sheriff’s station at 760-947-1500.
