1 Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 4 and Railroad Avenue [Bay Point, CA]

1 Injured in Bay Point Car Accident

 
BAY POINT, CA (April 10, 2019) – A person sustained major injuries in a five-vehicle accident on Highway 4 that shut down several lanes April 8.
 
CHP officers came to respond after 11:45 a.m. at the Railroad Avenue on-ramp to westbound Highway 4. Upon the officers and firefighters’ arrival, they found out that five vehicles collided. A white box truck also caught fire.
 
Due to the incident, firefighters requested at least three ambulances.
 
Despite CHP’s non-issuance of a SigAlert, the incident still stalled traffic on the right-hand lane of the highway.
 
As of this time, the condition of the injured remains unknown.
