1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Gardena Motorcycle Accident on Rosecrans Avenue and Kingsley Drive

 
GARDENA, CA (October 18, 2021) – Sunday night, a person died in a motorcycle crash on Rosecrans Avenue and Kingsley Drive.
 
According to Gardena police Lt. Eric Hyde, the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Rosecrans Avenue at Kingsley Drive.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound black Jeep struck the center median near Kingsley Drive. Then, the vehicle continued westbound onto oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an eastbound motorcycle.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Paramedics transported the female driver of the Jeep to Harbor General Hospital for treatment.
 
Moreover, the incident closed Rosecrans Avenue between Western and Normandie avenues.
 
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
