1 Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on District Boulevard and Ashe Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 20, 2022) – On Wednesday, a person died in a pedestrian crash on District Boulevard and Ashe Road.
The incident happened at the intersection of District Boulevard and Ashe Road.
Reports revealed that a vehicle ran a solid red light and struck the side of another vehicle. The force of the crash pushed the first vehicle to spin out of control and struck a pedestrian who was on the northeast corner of the intersection.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. Also, responders transported the suspect driver to a hospital with moderate injuries.
