Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Spring Valley

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (April 25, 2019) – A driver fatally struck a pedestrian and injured another on Jamacha Boulevard at Kempton Street Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 11:30 p.m. crash involved an SUV driver.
 
As a result of the accident, one pedestrian died and paramedics transported the other to Scripps Mercy Hospital. However, the extent of the patient’s injuries was unavailable.
 
Following the accident, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
It is unclear at this point how the incident happened or where the fault lies, but a follow-up investigation is underway.
