Fatal Plane Accident at Compton-Woodley Airport on Alondra Boulevard
COMPTON, CA (March 14, 2019) – A person died after two planes crashed at the Compton-Woodley Airport on Alondra Boulevard Wednesday.
According to reports, a single-engine North American T28 collided with a single-engine Cessna 152. As a result, both planes caught on fire. Downey firefighters to the scene shortly before 7:00 p.m.
As a result of the accident, one person died. In addition, paramedics brought the other victim to a trauma center for their injuries.
Investigators are seeking the ultimate cause of the accident.
