Injuries Reported in Kingsburg Vehicle Crash on Highway 99

KINGSBURG, CA (October 25, 2023) – Tuesday, a person was airlifted after a startling auto accident on Highway 99, south of Kingsburg.

The incident that stalled northbound traffic for miles happened just before noon on Highway 99 south of Kingsburg.

Then, the CHP shut down all lanes to let a Life Flight helicopter land on the highway.

Moreover, one of the vehicles involved in the crash overturned. Meanwhile, three ambulances came to the scene.

Also, one person was airlifted to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Eventually, CHP reopened one lane around 1:30 p.m.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
