SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA (December 17, 2019) – A person sustained major injuries in a car accident on Highway 160 on December 12.
 
The accident between a semi-truck and another vehicle occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on Highway 160 north of the Antioch Bridge.
 
According to reports, a Toyota Corolla traveling north near the bridge veered into the southbound lanes and crashed with a semi head-on.
 
The semi then got hit by another vehicle from behind, before it caught fire. The driver sustained minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, responders airlifted the Corolla driver to the hospital.
 
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
