Waco, TX (October 17, 2024) – 5-year-old Zahir Johnson was killed in a pedestrian accident on E Lakeshore Drive Wednesday evening.

Waco Police responded at about 9:30 p.m. to the accident at the 2500 block area.

The rescuers arrived at the scene and transported the child to the hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, officers said the driver had been cooperative on the investigation.
