Oregon Man Killed in Red Bluff Traffic Accident
Red Bluff, CA (November 28, 2022) – On Monday morning, 34-year-old Zachary Mitchell of Medford, Oregon, was fatally struck on Interstate 5.
The authorities say the fatal incident took place at around 4:45 a.m. on the northbound freeway south of Adobe Road.
According to the authorities, Mitchell pulled his vehicle over to the right shoulder, when at the same time, a 55-year-old man from The Dalles, Oregon, was northbound in a 2014 Toyota Prius.
Mitchell got out of his vehicle and was standing on the east shoulder when the Prius driver struck him.
Responding officers say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the Red Bluff traffic accident.
