40-Year-Old Yvonne Parks Killed in W Obama Boulevard Hit-and-Run Crash [Baldwin Hills, CA]

Baldwin Hills, CA (July 24, 2024) – 40-year-old Yvonne Parks was killed in a W Obama Boulevard hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning.

It was before 2 a.m. when the fatal crash happened in the 5700 block of W Obama Boulevard near La Cienega Boulevard.

LAPD officers said the woman was crossing the street with a man when she was hit by a dark-colored vehicle driving north on La Cienega Boulevard.

Unfortunately, Parks was killed at the crash scene.

Officers believe speed played a role in the collision.
