Pedestrian Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 4 in Concord, Major Injuries Sustained
CONCORD, CA (February 10, 2020) – An 18-year-old Concord man suffered critical injuries following a pedestrian crash Monday evening in Concord.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. on eastbound Highway 4 at the Port Chicago Highway on-ramp.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was down on the roadway with major injuries. Paramedics rushed the victim to John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
The driver who struck the pedestrian was not at the scene, nor was the involved vehicle. But CHP said they have located a person of interest.
