Cyclist Hurt after Auto-Crash on 7th and Myrtle Street in Eureka
Eureka, CA (June 09, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, a young cyclist sustained injuries in an auto-crash on 7th and Myrtle Street.
The accident happened at 4 p.m. on June 9. Dispatched officers responded and located a van and the injured cyclist on the scene.
Reportedly, a group of minors was riding northbound on Myrtle when one of them possibly veered and crashed in front of the vehicle.
Emergency personnel aided the victim on the scene and later transported to the hospital for further treatment. However, the current condition has not yet updated.
Meanwhile, the driver is uninjured and remained at the scene. Further investigation is ongoing.
