63-Year-Old Bicycle Rider Dies in Traffic Collision on Inverness Way
Sunnyvale, CA (September 27 2022) On Monday evening, 63-year-old Yong Hu of Sunnyvale died in a bicycle accident on Wolfe Road.
Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety say that the fatal traffic collision happened at around 5:11 p.m. on Inverness Way, a block from Apple headquarters.
Reports say that a vehicle struck the male bicyclist. First responders rendered first aid to Hu at the scene. Afterward, paramedics transported the injured rider to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
Officials say that Hu succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
