Yan Broytman of Frisco Dies in Interstate 20 Traffic Accident [Callahan County, TX]

Callahan County, TX (January 30, 2024) – 43-year-old Yan Broytman of Frisco was killed in an Interstate 20 traffic accident Sunday morning.

It was about 11:10 a.m. when the fatal collision unfolded approximately 7 miles east of Baird.

Officers said Broytman was stopped and parked on an improved shoulder of the freeway of westbound traffic lanes while trying to repair the engine of the big rig he was driving. 

At the same time, 46-year-old Lewis Clements Jr of New Market, Virginia, was westbound on the same freeway when he failed to drive in a single lane. The big rig he was driving swiped Broytman’s truck and struck Broytman who was outside. 

Sadly, Broytman was declared dead at the scene. 

The authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
