Teenager Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash While Walking on East Yakima Avenue and North Third Street Intersection
YAKIMA, WA (January 23, 2018) – A 15-year-old boy was struck and injured in a hit-and-run accident on the intersection of East Yakima Avenue and North Third Street, on Tuesday night.
Yakima Police Department spokesman Mike Bastinelli stated that an unknown SUV turned left from Third St onto Yakima Ave, and hit the teenager. The vehicle reportedly pulled over before fleeing from the scene. No other details of the car or driver are known at this time.
The boy was not hospitalized, but had a cut on his head and minor scrapes and bruises, according to his father.
