Lacey Car Crash Kills Xavier Weatherby of Olympia, Injures Others

 
Lacey, WA (May 11, 2021) – On Monday, 30-year-old Xavier Weatherby of Olympia died in a solo car crash on Marvin Road Northeast.
 
Officers responded to the scene at about 5:30 p.m. in the 5200 block area.
 
Authorities said the 1995 Honda Civic driven by Weatherby was northbound on the highway.
 
Apparently, Weatherby tried to pass a van, he over-corrected and his car slid sideways into a power pole.
 
Weatherby died on the scene.
 
On the other hand, rescuers took his four passengers to an area hospital with serious injuries.
 
Authorities said speed was obviously a factor in the fatal accident.
