Injuries Reported in Pierce County Auto Accident on State Route 512 and Steele Street
PIERCE COUNTY, WA (June 6, 2022) – Early Sunday, a WSP trooper suffered injuries in a DUI crash on State Route 512 and Steele Street.
At around 3:15 a.m., the WSP trooper responded to an eastbound crash on State Route 512 and Steele Street. Then, he went out of his vehicle, as well as the 18-year-old woman from Bonney Lake.
Then, a 44-year-old Tacoma man, suspected of DUI, headed east on the same highway.
Afterward, he struck the trooper’s vehicle and pushed it into the Bonney Lake woman’s car.
As a result, the 25-year-old trooper sustained a leg injury. Thus, responders took him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
Meanwhile, the Tacoma man and the Bonney Lake woman suffered no injuries in the crash.
